History of the company
2001
Svoy Travel Service entered the market of tourism in 2001. At that time, it was a part of a large holding "Svoy" and operated in the field of incoming and hotel reservations throughout Russia.
2011
After 10 years, in 2011, due to successful start, genuine partnership and wise and balanced personnel policy the company had highly professional staff of one hundred and thirty people, large offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Madrid and Barcelona, and most importantly - change of main shareholders.
The major international tour operator TUI TRAVEL PLC and the Severstal holding's Russian investment company S-Group, became the new shareholders.
From that moment on, the company was renamed "Svoy TT" (Svoy Tour and Travel) and was positioned itself as a division of Tui Travel PLC, responsible for travel service in Russia for TUI clients and all partners of the operator.
Thanks to our company, Hotelbeds, the world's largest B2B hotel room's database, with which we have long-standing friendly relations, has occupied a special place in the hotel booking market in Russia.
Since the mid-2000s, Svoy has been actively involved in servicing football events in Russia within the European tournaments.
Our company recieved such giants of Spanish football as Real Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao at the highest level. Until now we maintain friendly relations with some of their management members.
2014
In 2012, the company was the official partner of UEFA in the European Championship. Organization of air and railway transportation, hotel reservations, organization of all related events - a well done job has strengthened the authority of the company.
The next major partner is the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi, FSUE "Rosmorport" (accommodation of spectators and personnel on cruise ships). The next one is Sochi Avtodor. Our company get the status of an authorized tour operator of FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX 2014.
The Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014 became a separate page in the company's history. Almost all of the company's staff were involved in servicing more than 25,000 tourists accommodated on five cruise ships that we took under management through FSUE Rosmorport. Working in extremely difficult conditions united the team even more and contributed the growth of professional skills of the company's staff.
In November 2014, the successful Svoy TT team in its entirety leaves TUI and starts its own business under the name Svoy TS (Svoy Tourist Service), and the name Svoy TT remains in TUI.
2015
In August 2015, "Svoy TS" is awarded the Government reward for achievements in the field of inbound tourism. This is the first time a travel agency has been acknowledged at such a high level. A number of company's leaders were personally awarded by the Russian Prime Minister.
2016
In 2016, the company launches its own online booking platform for russian hotels - Svoy Hotel, created specifically for travel agencies.
2018
In 2018, Svoy TS appointed as the exclusive sales agent of MATCH Hospitality in Iran for sales of the Official hospitality program of the FIFA world Cup FIFA 2018 in Russia™.
We have provided ravel services to thousands of football fans from Spain, Iran and the countries of Latin America in all host cities and venues of the FIFA World Cup.
Many of our guides have worked with the official delegations of the national teams.
In December 2018, Svoy TS company received The Putevodnaya Zvezda (Lodestar) Award as the best inbound operator in Moscow.
This award is a non-profit professional competition for Moscow companies in tourism and hotel industry.
2021
In January 2021, the company became a member of the Safe Travels Discover Moscow program.
This means that all our guests can feel safe: we comply with all sanitary standards, apply special cleaning standards, measure temperature and much more.
Our company is a constant participant of major international travel fairs, you may find our expositions at ITB in Berlin, WTM in London, FITUR in Madrid, BIT in Milan, MITT in Moscow.
Currently, Svoy TS is looking forward to a promising future, mastering new directions, building up a partner base and designing many interesting itineraries!
